About the Course
Recruitment & Selection
Course Overview
In today’s changing employment landscape, getting recruitment right is business-critical. With the Labour government expected to abolish the two-year qualifying period for unfair dismissal claims, poor hiring decisions will carry far greater risk than ever before.
This course is built from a commercially driven perspective, encouraging managers to treat recruitment as a strategic investment, just like capital equipment. When you invest in the right people, you drive performance, protect your business, and secure long-term results.
What you’ll learn

Learn and apply the STAR model to assess candidate responses with consistency and confidence.

Spot unconscious bias and understand how to prevent it from affecting decision-making.
Explore our newest module covering how to adapt interview processes to be more inclusive and accessible for neurodiverse candidates.
