About the Course
Sexual Harassment Prevention for All Staff
Winner of the 2024 UK HR Award for Learning & Development Provision of the Year

Why this course matters for your workplace
This course helps employees at every level understand the behavioural realities of sexual harassment, not just the legal definitions. It equips your team to recognise inappropriate behaviour, challenge harmful norms like ‘banter,’ and play an active role in creating a culture of respect, inclusion, and safety. The result? A workplace where everyone feels empowered, protected, and heard. This training is mandatory under the Worker Protection Act 2023 which came in to force in October 2024.
What will your team learn?
Participants will explore:
The psychology behind how we interpret and excuse harmful behaviour such as sexual harassment, so they can spot and stop it.
Why ‘banter’ is one of the most common, and complex forms of inappropriate behaviour and what they can do about it.
Where the line is when it comes to jokes, comments and interactions, and how consent plays a crucial role.
How myths around victims and perpetrators of sexual harassment distort our understanding of it.
How to recognise and address relational power dynamics between peers to prevent sexual harassment at work.
The importance of bystander intervention, and how to step in safely and effectively.
What skills and awareness will staff walk away with?
A deeper, myth-busting understanding of what sexual harassment really is.
Confidence to spot the early signs of inappropriate behaviour and speak up.
Tools to check their own behaviour and better understand impact vs. intent.
Awareness of their role in shaping a respectful team culture.
Strategies to support colleagues and handle difficult conversations with empathy.
