About the Course

Dignity and Respect at Work

Winner of the 2024 UK HR Award for Learning & Development Provision of the Year

This practical, evidence-based course helps build a culture where dignity and respect are non-negotiable. Grounded in the Equality Act 2010 and underpinned by trauma-informed approaches, it equips employees and managers alike with the insight and tools to recognise, prevent, and address all forms of workplace harassment and discrimination.

Delivered in five flexible modules, the first three are designed for all employees, while the final two provide additional guidance for line managers:

  1. What Dignity and Respect Look Like - Understanding behaviours, language, and conduct that foster a respectful workplace.

  2. Spotting and Stopping Harassment - Recognising inappropriate behaviour early, including third-party harassment, and knowing how to respond.

  3. How Unconscious Bias Affects Work - Exploring how biases shape decisions and interactions at work.

  4. Creating a Culture of Respect (Managers only) - Embedding values-led leadership, early intervention, and bystander intervention strategies.

  5. Handling Complaints and Moving Forward (Managers only) - Navigating complaints sensitively and legally using a trauma-informed, resolution-focused approach.
